Reawakening All Our RelationsEvent: Indigenous Stories by the Fire
Location: Balls Falls Conservation Area
3292 Sixth Ave. Lincoln, ON L0R 1S0

Position Needed: Parking Attendants

Date: Saturday, September 24th, 2022
Time: 5pm to 9pm (Event runs 6-8pm- we anticipate being done sooner but allowing for an hour)

Duties: Supporting event participants to park their cars, assisting in minimal event set up and take down and then helping attendees make their way over to the presentation area, where a clean fire will be lit – providing a welcoming atmosphere and support as needed.

Volunteers will be provided with a flashlight and vest for safety as well as a snack and drink and are encouraged to enjoy the Indigenous Stories by the Fire event and then support participants as they are leaving by walking people over to their cars and then directing traffic as they are leaving. Please bring your own seating, as there is none provided at this event. We suggest chairs as the ground may become damp as the sun sets.
