In terms of reconciliation we are taking ACTION. Our interactive workshop allows the participants an opportunity to express themselves through lacrosse. We are committed to creating an environment that encourages conversation that builds understanding of Indigenous history and growing the game of lacrosse. We are Indigenous voices creating a safe space to learn.

FUSE LC is guided through the games traditional roots and our core values: Tradition, Respect, Leadership, Perseverance and Integrity.

Spirit of the Game: Participating in Lacrosse for the love of the game, with the pure intention of playing hard while nurturing a good mind, is pursing the spirit of the game.

Respect: To act in a way that shows you are aware of and fully value the participants, rules and spirit of the game. This means you hold the sports traditions in the highest standards.

Leadership: To act in a way that motivates others, which maximizes the effort, towards achieving a common goal. Leadership takes many forms and Lacrosse allows you to express and develop leadership qualities.

Perseverance: To act in a way that expresses an effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. When youth are supported, they develop confidence, embrace uncomfortable situations, and face challenges head on.

Integrity: To serve the game well means that you act with honesty and sincerity on and off the field.

Tradition: The handing down of information, beliefs, or customs from one generation to the next. Tradition invites you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Tradition is rooted in the culture of lacrosse and the characters of those who participate.
