Wishes on the Water

Due to weather concerns, with the impending thunderstorms that are forecasted for the bulk of the day tomorrow – Friday, August 5th, 2022- we are rescheduling the Water Lantern Festival to Saturday, August 6th, 2022, Chippawa Park Pond, 90 First Avenue, Welland, 7:30 pm to 9 pm/Dusk.

The location and the times are the same, we are just moving the event to Saturday as it has a more favourable and safer weather forecast. We are working to secure all the artists and ask for your acceptance if the night might not be exactly as advertised. All purchases are being honoured and unless the event is outright cancelled, no refunds will be given. Please check out our Facebook page as well for any further updates.

We too are dispirited that we will not greet you Friday, but very much looking forward to meeting you on Saturday.  There are many things that we can control in our lives but weather is definitely not one of them. Your understanding is greatly appreciated at this time.
